About Serenity's Way

Serenity’s Way Nursing Agency was founded on March 15, 2015, with nothing more than a dream, determination, and a deep desire to care for others. What began as a leap of faith has grown into a trusted, community-centered nursing agency built on compassion, integrity, and heart.

Our founder, Elaine, took a bold step when she left her steady job to build Serenity’s Way from the ground up. Like many small business owners, the road was not easy—Elaine worked six full months without receiving a paycheck, pouring everything she had into caring for clients, supporting caregivers, and keeping the doors open. She believed that if you take care of people first, everything else will follow—and she was right.

Today, that single dream has grown into a thriving agency with six dedicated office staff, 36 Direct Support Professionals, and 32 clients who trust us with their care. Even with this growth, Serenity’s Way remains rooted in the same values it was built on: compassion, integrity, and putting people first.

At Serenity’s Way, we believe that emotional and physical health, positive self-esteem, and the promotion of independence pave the path to a better quality of life while guiding individuals to reach their full potential. This belief shapes everything we do—from the way we train our staff to the way we care for each client and support every family.

We are more than a nursing agency—we are a family. We proudly provide dependable, high-quality care that allows our clients to live with dignity, confidence, and independence in their own homes. At the same time, we are deeply committed to supporting our caregivers, knowing that when they feel valued and empowered, they can provide the very best care.

 Vanessa serves as the Office Manager at Serenity’s Way Nursing Agency, where she plays a key role in keeping daily operations organized and running smoothly. With strong leadership skills and a compassionate approach, she supports both clients and staff while ensuring clear communication and efficient coordination. Often the first point of contact for families and caregivers, Vanessa provides guidance, professionalism, and reassurance, helping create a positive and welcoming experience. Her attention to detail, dedication, and commitment to excellence help Serenity’s Way deliver the reliable, high-quality care it is known for. 

 Tammy serves as Payroll Manager and Billing Manager at Serenity’s Way Nursing Agency, where she plays an essential role in supporting both the caregivers and the financial operations of the agency. She works closely with staff to ensure hiring, onboarding, and employee support are handled with care and professionalism, while also overseeing billing to make sure services are accurate, timely, and compliant. Tammy’s attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to organization help keep Serenity’s Way running smoothly behind the scenes, allowing the team to focus on what matters most—providing exceptional care to every client. 

 Sara serves as the Client Care Coordinator at Serenity’s Way Nursing Agency, where she is dedicated to ensuring every client receives the right care and support to meet their individual needs. She works closely with families, caregivers, and the office team to coordinate services, address concerns, and maintain clear communication. Sara’s compassion, organization, and attention to detail help create smooth, personalized care experiences, making sure each client feels valued, understood, and well cared for throughout their journey with Serenity’s Way. 

 Chelsea serves as the Registered Nurse and Training Coordinator at Serenity’s Way Nursing Agency, where she plays a vital role in ensuring high standards of care across the entire team. She provides hands-on training, guidance, and ongoing education to caregivers, helping them build confidence and skills in their roles. Chelsea’s clinical expertise, supportive approach, and commitment to excellence help ensure that every caregiver is well prepared to deliver safe, compassionate, and professional care to every client. 

Mary serves as the Scheduling Manager and Event Coordinator at Serenity’s Way Nursing Agency, where she keeps both daily operations and special events running seamlessly. She manages caregiver schedules with precision and care, ensuring clients receive reliable, consistent coverage while supporting staff needs. In addition, Mary coordinates agency events that bring together clients, families, and caregivers, helping strengthen the Serenity’s Way community. Her organization, creativity, and dedication help make every schedule and every event a success.
