
Our staff assist with scheduling medical, dental, and specialty appointments. Transportation to and from appointments is coordinated by the House Supervisor to ensure safe and reliable care.
Parents and guardians are promptly notified of any questions, concerns, or changes. Open communication occurs as soon as issues arise to maintain transparency and trust.
All staff receive medication training from a County Board–employed Registered Nurse. Training includes the Six Rights of Medication Administration, along with in-home instruction prior to administering medications. Strict procedures are followed to ensure medications are given to the correct individual, at the correct time, and in the correct dosage.
A nurse on staff oversees prescription filling and refills. Medications are coordinated through either a selected pharmacy with home delivery or the client’s pharmacy of choice.
Clients may participate in weekly, company-planned outings, with additional activities scheduled based on individual interests and requests.
Serenity’s Way supports community engagement through everyday activities such as grocery shopping, luncheons, card clubs, and social or recreational events.
